HGTV’s newest home renovation show, “Fix My Flip,” starts with a conceit we’re all familiar with: experienced real estate agent comes in to help home flippers who are in over their heads. But, as the show goes on, a “Shark Tank”-like element spices up the plotline before the remodel even starts: The host, Page Turner, offers the flippers an additional investment of cash for their renovation budget, in exchange for a percentage of the house’s final sale price. Do the flippers decide to take the deal, or do they renegotiate? It’s this type of out-of-the-box concept that drew us to “Fix My Flip” and why we were so excited to talk to Turner, who is also the show’s executive producer.

We had a wonderful time hearing about how she got her HGTV start on “Flip or Flop: Nashville,” about the genesis of “Fix My Flip,” and why she’s had it up to here with the modern farmhouse look. (She’s not the only one!)
